HARD WORK PAYS OFF

The team's motto is "Hard work pays off". Over the years The Outsiders have proven it's motto to be true game after game. Summer baseball in the Bronx has produced some memorable teams over the years (The New York Nine, The Bonnies, Paulino League, and Youth Service). Now comes a new team to that tradition of history and it plans to leave a mark. The Outsiders Baseball Association, Inc. has often been considered the underdogs but have defeated top teams in their league. The Outsiders began in 2003 as a dream of Tony Reyes and Carlos Alvarado. Tony Reyes came up with the team's name because it was the name of his favorite WWF tag team duo, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. Throughout the years The Outsiders have been an improving team with excellent talent and great chemistry. Since 2003 The Outsiders have been one of the fastest growing organizations in the Bronx. With the help of Hearst and Nike, The Outsiders has been able to have there own website, repair The Allerton ball field , have a summer internhip program at Hearst, have a Blogspot on the internet, and write articles in the Daily News that reflect on The Outsiders Organization and also on the Bronx community, and last we have gotten the opportunity to get things from Nike. With the help of Hearst and Nike we have been able to get uniforms, cleats, equipment, bats and gloves for free.
